How to move your Kinopoisk watchlist to Trakt
- Find your Kinopoisk ID — the number in your profile URL (for example kinopoisk.ru/user/12345). Your profile must be public.
- Open this site and paste the ID or the full profile link.
- Click Export. The converter reads your «to watch» list and finds the TMDB/IMDb ID of each title via Wikidata.
- A Trakt watchlist file downloads (matched by IMDb ID). Letterboxd and JSON are available too.
- Sign in to Trakt and load the file through Settings → Data → Import — the titles are added to your Trakt watchlist.
How the list lands on Trakt
Trakt’s own importer (Settings → Data → Import) accepts a CSV/JSON file and matches every entry by IMDb ID. The converter finds each film’s IMDb ID via Wikidata and builds the file in exactly that shape, so no extra tools are needed. Films without a found IMDb ID are left out — move those to Letterboxd (by TMDB ID) or add them by hand.

Can I move my Kinopoisk «to watch» list to Trakt?
Yes. The converter reads the public list page and builds a file for Trakt’s own importer — sign in to Trakt and upload it under Settings → Data → Import. Your Kinopoisk profile must be public.
Why are some films missing from the file?
Trakt matches by IMDb ID only, so films without a found IMDb ID are left out — move those to Letterboxd (by TMDB ID) or add them by hand.
Will my ratings and watch dates move too?
No — a watchlist holds only films you plan to watch. To move your rated films to Trakt, use the ratings export.
