How to move your Kinopoisk ratings to Simkl
- Find your Kinopoisk ID — the number in your profile URL (for example kinopoisk.ru/user/12345). Your profile must be public.
- Open this site and paste the ID or the full profile link.
- Click Export. The converter loads your ratings and finds the IMDb ID of each film via Wikidata — Simkl matches imported files by IMDb ID.
- A CSV downloads in the IMDb export format (Const, Your Rating, Date Rated, Title, Year) — exactly what Simkl’s IMDb importer expects.
- Sign in to Simkl, open simkl.com/apps/import/imdb and upload the file — your ratings appear on Simkl.
Why the IMDb format
Simkl does not read arbitrary CSV files, but it has a dedicated importer for the IMDb ratings export. The converter builds a file in exactly that format and fills the Const column with each film’s IMDb ID found via Wikidata, so Simkl matches everything without an IMDb account being involved at all.
