Terms of Use
What the service does, what it does not warrant, and what the user answers for.
1. What the service does
The service reads a public profile at the address the user gives, builds from it files in the formats other film services accept, and explains how to load them there. It stores no video, grants no access to watching anything, and takes no part in what happens after a file is downloaded.
2. No affiliation
The service is independent of the film sites and tracking services whose file formats it supports. It does not act on their behalf, is not endorsed by them and is not operated by them. Their names and trade marks belong to their proprietors and are used only so far as naming compatibility requires.
3. The profile the user names
Only what the profile shows to everyone is read, and only the address the user submits is visited. Responsibility for naming a profile that belongs to somebody else rests with the person who named it. Where a profile is closed, nothing can be built from it.
4. How the service may be used
The service is meant for moving one’s own lists, by hand or on a schedule set up in an account. Not permitted are mass automated runs, circumventing the limits on how often a run may start, reselling access, and collecting the data of the service in order to fill another one. Where such use is detected, access may be refused.
5. No warranty
The service is provided free of charge and as it is. The completeness and accuracy of the files are not warranted: they depend on what the profile shows and on which titles could be matched between services. Availability is not warranted either, and the service may be discontinued.
6. Limitation of liability
The service does not answer for what a loaded file does in another service, including data changed or lost there, and an import is best made after a copy of the existing list has been saved. Liability for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, remain unaffected.
7. Changes to these terms
The terms may change, and the version in force is the one published on this page at the time the service is used. Continuing to use the service after a change means the new version is accepted; a user who does not accept it may delete the account and stop.
