How to move your Kinopoisk ratings to Letterboxd
- Find your Kinopoisk ID — the number in your profile URL (for example kinopoisk.ru/user/12345). Your profile must be public.
- Open this site and paste the ID or the full profile link.
- Click Export. The converter loads your ratings and finds the TMDB/IMDb ID of each film via Wikidata.
- The CSV downloads automatically. Over 1900 ratings are split into several files (the Letterboxd limit is 1900 rows per file).
- Upload the file(s) to letterboxd.com/import and your ratings and reviews appear on Letterboxd.
Why matching is accurate
Letterboxd matches films by TMDB ID, and by IMDb ID when no TMDB ID exists. The converter finds these identifiers for every film via Wikidata, so the import runs with no manual picking and no matching errors. Want to bring your reviews along? Enable the “Include reviews” option and their text is added to the CSV. Need it the other way round? Then it is the Letterboxd ratings that go into Kinopoisk.
