How to move from Kinopoisk to Kinorium
- Paste your Kinopoisk profile ID above and click Export. The CSV for Kinorium is built in Kinorium’s own import format: the
date,statusandkinopoisk IDcolumns its uploader reads — with your score instatus, which is what makes the ratings land. - On Kinorium: sign in, open profile settings, choose “Импорт CSV-файла” and upload the file. Scores of 1–10 come in as ratings; titles you marked watched without a score come in as plain watch marks. Kinorium keeps one import file at a time — to upload a second one, delete the previous import first.
- Two things worth knowing. Kinorium can also pull your ratings by profile ID on its own — “Импорт данных из Кинопоиска”, no file at all, but it keeps your account tied to Kinopoisk. And the Kinopoisk backup in the “also” row is worth keeping either way: it restores your collection anywhere later, with no Kinopoisk needed.
Why bother with a file at all
Kinorium can import from Kinopoisk by profile ID on its own, so for a one-way move you may not need a file. But that import keeps your Kinorium account tied to Kinopoisk — unlink it and the imported data goes with it — and your ratings end up locked inside another closed service all the same. A file import is a one-off: you upload the CSV, and the data stays yours. The Kinopoisk backup and the Letterboxd/IMDb/Trakt files from the same run come in handy at the next move — you won’t have to collect everything again.

I uploaded a file and got only watched marks — no ratings. Why?
Kinorium reads the score from a column called
status, and treats any value there that is not 1–10 as a plain watch mark. A file without that column — the Kinopoisk backup, a Simkl or Trakt export — therefore lands as “watched” and nothing else.
