How to move your Kinopoisk ratings to IMDb
- Find your Kinopoisk ID — the number in your profile URL (for example kinopoisk.ru/user/12345). Your profile must be public.
- Open this site and paste the ID or the full profile link.
- Click Export. The converter loads your ratings and finds the IMDb ID of each film via Wikidata.
- Choose Export for IMDb (CSV) to download a file with a Const column (imdbID), rating, date, title and year.
- Sign in to IMDb and turn on the import in IMDb Labs — an opt-in beta open since July 2026. Then open Import watch history and upload the file: it carries watched marks and ratings.
- If the beta refuses the file, the same CSV is understood by Letterboxd, Trakt, Simkl and Criticker.
The IMDb CSV format
IMDb accepts a CSV with the columns Const (IMDb ID), Your Rating, Date Rated, Title and Year. Matching goes by the Const column, so films without a found IMDb ID do not make it into the file. You can move those to Letterboxd by TMDB ID, or add them manually.
Where else this CSV works
The IMDb-format file is a de-facto standard, so it works well beyond IMDb itself: Simkl imports it directly, and Criticker, iCheckMovies and MovieLens accept an IMDb ratings CSV too. JustWatch has no file upload, but it imports IMDb lists by link — so once your ratings are on IMDb, you can pull them into JustWatch from there.
